I am involved with this fundraising campaign because my son is a 27-year-old nonverbal Autistic young man who attends the Adult Program at South Florida Autism Charter School (SFACS). Over the years, I have seen firsthand how important it is for adults with autism to have access to specialized programs that help them thrive. SFACS is now taking a huge step forward by building a separate Center for adult students, right next to the school my son attends. This new center will be a place where students like my son can continue to learn, grow, and develop essential life skills in a supportive environment.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward setting up the new Adult Center. These resources will help provide the tools, materials, and opportunities needed for students to learn all sorts of life skills, from communication and self-care to job training and social interaction. By supporting this fundraiser, you are helping to create a brighter future for adults with autism, giving them the chance to function better in society and lead more independent lives.
