On September 6, 2025, a fire broke out in the family of Sergei and Olga Konovalov.

The family has 11 children, 10 of them are girls (the eldest is 20 years old, the youngest is 2 years old). They all managed to get out of the burning house, they were alive and unharmed.

Sergei and Olga previously served as missionaries in Krasnoyarsk Krai, in Evenkia. After moving to Novokuznetsk, they immediately built themselves a house. Just a year ago, a father and son finished the exterior insulation and decoration of their home.

The house has suffered severe damage: the exterior is completely burned, and the second floor and roof have been destroyed. The first floor requires extensive repairs, as it has been completely flooded.
