We are heartbroken and desperate for answers as we search for our beloved 19-year-old daughter, Dacara Thompson, who has been missing since August 23, 2025. Our family is reaching out to you for help in bringing her home safely.

Dacara was last seen on surveillance video parking her 2013 white Ford Edge SUV in the 1800 block of Jasmine Terrace in Hyattsville, Maryland, on Saturday, August 23. She was seen walking toward Riggs Road, and then she vanished. All she had with her was her phone, and now even that lead has gone cold. For Dacara not to call or text us for a week is completely unlike her—she’s always been in touch, and her silence has left us fearing the worst.

We’re raising funds to support the search for Dacara. Your donations will help us:

* Hire private investigators to follow leads and expand the search beyond what police resources can cover.

* Print and distribute flyers, posters, and other materials to spread awareness in Prince George’s County and beyond.

* Cover travel and communication costs as we follow up on any tips about her whereabouts.
