As most of you all know, Mark and I own a dance studio. We consider the families in our studio as our extended family. We love all the kids, and we get so personally attached to all the families.

Unfortunately, one of our El Dorado Dance Academy families, that has been a part of our studio for a long time already, is going through a very rough time. Father David has suffered a stroke. The vision in his left eye has never returned after this stroke. Unfortunately he fell and broke his foot, then got an infection in his foot that turned septic. This meant that he had to undergo surgery to amputate part of his foot. Right now, David is still in the hospital and his prognosis is rather grim. His kidneys are now in stage 4 failing, which will possibly mean that he will need to go on dialysis. He might need a blood transfusion as well to get control of his red blood cell count, which is almost non existent right now.

Christmas is just around the corner, and we’d love your help in bringing the Schwark family a little extra light and warmth during this challenging time.
