Support the Schroeder Family in Loving Memory of Malakai

It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of sweet 10-year-old Malakai Schroeder, who went to be with Jesus after a brave and fierce battle with Ewing Sarcoma. Malakai was diagnosed in July 2022 and fought with incredible strength and courage. In November 2023, his scans showed no signs of cancer, and we celebrated what we hoped was healing. But in March 2024, the family received the devastating news that the cancer had returned—and this time, it was incurable.

Malakai was a joyful, bright light in this world. He loved Mario, Dog Man books, movies, his puppies, and most of all, his twin sister Ariana. He dreamed of becoming a video game developer one day. His kind spirit and big heart touched everyone who knew him.

Jennifer and Matt, Malakai’s devoted parents, are completely heartbroken. Losing a child is unimaginable. As they now face funeral expenses and the weight of medical bills, we want to come together as a community to lift them up in love and support. Our hope is to ease their financial burden so they can take the time they need to grieve without added stress.

Thankfully, Malakai and his family were able to take an unforgettable Make-A-Wish trip to Disney and Universal in January 2024. Those memories are now more precious than ever.
