We are raising money to support the noble Salafi scholars and mashāyikh of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamāʿah — those known for their unwavering clarity in ʿaqīdah and steadfastness upon the Salafi methodology — who are today facing crippling poverty, hunger, and hardship in regions such as Yemen, Egypt, and other areas afflicted by turmoil and economic collapse.
These are the very men who defended the creed of the Salaf, refuted innovations, taught Tawḥīd, preserved the Sunnah, and gave their time, hearts, and souls to serve the Ummah. And now, many of them struggle to secure even a meal, medicine, or shelter for their families.
Their pain is real.
Their homes are crumbling.
Some of their children are sick.
Their bodies are weak — but their commitment to the daʿwah remains strong.

The Virtue of Spending in the Path of Allah
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a grain that grows seven ears; in each ear, a hundred grains. Allah multiplies for whom He wills. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower.”
— [Surah al-Baqarah 2:261]
The Prophet ﷺ said:
From ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿUmar (may Allah be pleased with them both):
“A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim; he does not wrong him nor hand him over [to an enemy]. Whoever is in the need of his brother, Allah will be in his need; and whoever relieves a Muslim of a hardship, Allah will relieve him of a hardship from the hardships of the Day of Resurrection; and whoever conceals a Muslim, Allah will conceal him on the Day of Resurrection.” (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)
From Abū Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him):
“Allah is in the aid of the servant as long as the servant is in the aid of his brother.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)
From Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her):
“Good deeds protect from evil ends, secret charity extinguishes the anger of the Lord, maintaining ties of kinship increases lifespan, every good deed is charity, and the people of good in this world will be the people of good in the Hereafter, and the people of evil in this world will be the people of evil in the Hereafter, and the first to enter Paradise will be the people of good.” (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Targhīb wa al-Tarhīb, no. 890)
Spending upon the people of knowledge is from the greatest forms of sadaqah, for it is not just relief — it is revival. You are reviving hearts, preserving the legacy of the Prophet ﷺ, and earning a portion in their reward.

Why This GoFundMe Was Created
This GoFundMe campaign — “Support the Scholars of Sunnah in Their Time of Hardship” — was not launched on impulse, nor for fame, nor for any worldly gain. It was established after consultation with our teachers and scholars, in direct response to their advice: that Ahl al-Sunnah must support their scholars, care for them, and stand with them in their times of difficulty.
It is a trustworthy and transparent link, made by the people of Sunnah, for the people of Sunnah, to provide a secure and reliable means to send urgent support to our noble Salafi scholars — those known for their clarity in creed and steadfastness upon the manhaj, especially in regions like Yemen, Egypt, and others enduring hardship.
These are the very scholars who:
• Taught us the Sunnah,
• Preserved the books of ʿAqīdah,
• Stood firm against bidʿah when others compromised,
• Clarified the truth when others remained silent.
They are the ones who spent their nights studying and their days teaching, who carried the torch of prophetic knowledge while others chased the dunya.
And now that some of them can no longer afford daily bread…
Now that their families are ill…
Their children are cold…
Their homes in ruin…
Will we turn away?
“Is the reward for good [anything] but good?”
— [Surah ar-Raḥmān 55:60]
They gave us guidance.
They gave us truth.
They gave us light.
Now it is our turn to give back.
This is not just a matter of charity —
It is a matter of loyalty, honor, and justice.
“He who does not thank the people has not thanked Allah.”
— [Sunan Abī Dāwūd, graded Ṣaḥīḥ]

A Matter of Trust — And We Seek Refuge in Allah
This GoFundMe campaign is strictly and solely for the support of the noble Salafi scholars and mashāyikh who are enduring hardship. It is not for any personal gain, nor is it linked to any worldly ambition — and we seek refuge in Allah from that.
We ask Allah to purify our hearts and intentions, and we remind ourselves and you of the words of the Prophet ﷺ:
“Actions are but by intentions, and every person will have what they intended.”
— [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim]
This initiative was founded upon the advice and encouragement of our scholars, with the purpose of creating a secure and trustworthy means for the people of Sunnah around the world to support the very scholars who served us all without ever asking in return.
Every penny collected will be delivered directly to the scholars, and proof of every disbursement — including receipts, confirmations, and documentation — will be shared openly and transparently on our Telegram channel: Ship of Salvation.
