Help the Schmidt Family on Their Road to Recovery

Sunday started like any other day for the Schmidt family, but everything changed in an instant. On their way to church, they stopped near a construction site when their vehicle was hit from behind. The crash left most of the family with serious injuries, including their youngest, who was hurt the worst. They now face a long and difficult journey of surgeries, hospital stays, travel, and healing ahead.

The Schmidts are the definition of hard work, heart, and faith. As a ranching and rodeo family, tenacity and perseverance are a way of life. Hanna is a dedicated registered nurse who also competes in breakaway roping when she’s not caring for others or helping on the ranch. Chuck, a three-time NFR-qualified bronc rider, has poured his energy into his family and their ranching life. They’ve always been the first to lend a hand or offer encouragement to others in need.

While the Schmidts have only asked for prayers, we’re asking the community to help ease their financial burdens so they can focus entirely on healing and their children’s recovery.
