On April 24, 2025, in the early afternoon, one of our valued team members, Stephanie Schill, and her husband, William Schill (retired Water Resources employee), experienced a devastating loss when their home was destroyed in a house fire. Thankfully, everyone is safe, but the damage was total, leaving them with nothing but the clothes they were wearing.

The Schills have been a dedicated part of our team and workplace family for the Water Resources department, and now it's our turn to support them in this time of need. We're raising funds to help cover temporary housing, clothing, food, and other essential items while they work to rebuild their life from the ground up.
