Support the Schellinger Family After Devastating Fire

On 9/4 there was a tragic fire that engulfed the barn of the Schellinger Family who are dear friends to many of us. Thankfully the horses are safe but the barn is a complete loss. The horse community is a tight one and we felt that together we can help this family with not only thoughts and prayers but a way to help them through the many months of rebuilding, repurchasing all that was lost in fire, and the relocation of there animals until there barn is finished.

"

9/4 Barn fire. I would like to thank the firefighters, police, EMT, friends, family, neighbors and people I’ve never even met for coming to our aid, from the bottom of my heart! The outpouring of support has been humbling and honestly restored my faith that there are so many good people out there that just want to help. I truly hope to pay it forward someday. The barn is a total loss but the horses are all fine and have all been moved to different homes. We are also very thankful that no one was hurt. I am finding barn cats that have slowly been returning to the house. They seem very disoriented and some have burns and singdged fur. I won’t have enough room for all of them as the weather gets colder. I’ve called multiple humane societies for help but they are all full. So if anyone would like to help a kitty please let me know.
