Support the San Leandro High Basketball Team

This year, the San Leandro High School Men’s Basketball team is predicted to be very successful. Having many kids who are potentially college-bound, it’s crucial to attend high-level tournaments, during pre-season as well as during the season. Last year, a senior was recruited to San Diego State University, a Division I team that had Kawhi Leonard on their team before he went to the NBA. If more players could get more opportunities at more tournaments, there could be many more recruits like this, given their talent and potential. However, the team is overall financially unable to give enough money to go to these tournaments, and last year, even with five fundraisers, was not able to raise enough money to attend many tournaments. This is an unfair advantage that other schools get, when they have families who are able to give a lot of money, because they can get these opportunities automatically. With your help, the team could raise enough money, and be on the same level as other schools, to attend several prestigious tournaments, such as the Max Preps Torrey Pines Holiday Classic, which they’re already been invited to. Please help the team get to go to these opportunities and take our team to the next level, by sending more kids to college and increasing the skill of the team.
