Lauren, Clyde, and their daughter Madi Sammons need support after a terrible car accident yesterday. Madi is currently in the PICU at Golisano Hospital, and Lauren and Clyde are staying at the hospital around the clock so they can be with their little girl during this critical time.

Madi is currently intubated and sedated, and her medical team is watching her very closely. She has a drain in place to relieve fluid related to a brain bleed, and doctors are carefully monitoring her intracranial pressure to make sure it does not rise. She also has a fracture on the left side of her skull. Thankfully, yesterday’s CT scan did not show any additional or new bleeding, which is encouraging. Aside from slight bruising to her pancreas that they are monitoring, everything internally appears to be okay.

Both Lauren and Clyde are loved by so many of us. This fundraiser was created to help ease some of that burden so Lauren and Clyde can stay by Madi's side without carrying all of these extra expenses alone.
