The Salazar family is facing an unimaginable loss—their youngest son, Nick Salazar, was taken away too soon, passing away suddenly from heart failure at just 26 years old. Nick was the second youngest of four siblings—Veronica, Tony, and Kat—who are all grieving the loss of their beloved brother. He was a very compassionate person, always thinking of others, and in his final moments, chose to give the gift of life as an organ donor. He passed away on December 24, 2025, after receiving the state’s best care at Cedars Sinai ICU.
Nick loved music and fishing, and he brought joy to those around him with his passions, his kind heart, and his compassion. His memory lives on through the lives he touched and the gifts he gave.
The Salazar family is now navigating the heartbreak of losing Nick. The costs of funeral arrangements and the medical bills from Nick’s time in the ICU have created a heavy burden during an already difficult time. All money raised will go directly to Nick's family to help cover these expenses. We are reaching out to the community to ask for support in easing this burden, so the Salazars can focus on healing and remembering Nick’s incredible spirit.
Thank you to everyone—friends, family, and kind strangers—for your compassion and generosity. Your support means the world to the Salazar family as they honor Nick’s memory and find their way through this loss.
