Support the Rytz Family Through Stephan’s Recovery

Help Stephan and his family as he recovers from a severe brain injury.

My name is Stéphanie Rancourt and my family and I are close friends of the Rytz’s. This GoFundMe was created as a way to rally around the Rytz family during this incredibly difficult time.

Stephan Rytz, husband and father of two young children, was in an unfortunate accident on January 25, 2025, resulting in a traumatic brain injury and collapsed lung. He required emergency surgery, and remains in the ICU as he comes out of an induced coma. Stephan is making progress every day, and was able to breathe on his own for the first time today (February 6). However, brain injuries are unpredictable, and it is impossible to know what the future will look like for him and his family. What is clear is that Stephan will require extensive rehabilitation, and will be unable to work for the foreseeable future.

Stephan’s wife, Brianne, has been at his side daily while continuing to care for their two children Josephine and Dominic. We are hoping to lighten the financial burden the family will inevitably face over the coming months.
