John was given a terminal cancer diagnosis back in May and was home on hospice when a sudden house fire destroyed their home in the early morning hours of July 8th. Carli got her kids (14 and 10) out, along with John and their family dog safely, minutes before the entire house was engulfed in flames. They lost everything at a time they should be spending with their family.
