By way of introduction, my name is Jennifer Mcleod-Freeman and I am helping to oversee the renovation project at Beautiful Light Missionary Baptist Church.

Beautiful Light Missionary Baptist Church was founded in 1939 in Cairo, Georgia. The church is in a prominent location within an African American neighborhood. From previous years, this church allowed for many individuals to have a place to worship and praise God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The church is in process of renovation due to external damage from trees falling on the roof. We have removed the large trees that had damaged the roof of the church and repaired all internal damages.

The purpose for this GO Fund Me is to replace the church's roof by July 31, 2025. We are seeking external funding to raise $17,000, that will be used to help fund replacing the roof. Once the roof is replaced, we have plans of reopening Beautiful Missionary Baptist Church in August 2025.

The verse that comes to mind as I have been working with others during the church renovation is below:

"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it." Malachi 3:10 (KJV)
