Support for Trey & Laura Rogers During Recovery
On Monday night, our friend and colleague Trey Rogers was involved in a serious single-car accident. He was airlifted to UVA Hospital, where he remains in the ICU receiving critical care. While Trey is strong, determined, and fighting hard, the road to recovery will be long. His wife, Laura, has barely left his side as the medical team continues to evaluate and treat his injuries.
Trey is not only a talented flight instructor at our flight school—he’s also a deeply valued member of our community and a genuinely kind and generous friend. Anyone who has flown with Trey knows the passion, patience, and professionalism he brings to every lesson. He has helped so many of us chase our dreams in aviation, and now it’s our turn to help him and Laura navigate an incredibly difficult time.
As Trey begins his healing process, both he and Laura are facing unexpected and significant financial burdens. Between mounting medical expenses, time away from work, and everyday bills that don’t pause for tragedy, the strain is overwhelming.
We are starting this GoFundMe to help relieve some of that pressure and give Trey and Laura the support they need to focus entirely on his recovery. Every donation—big or small—will directly help them with medical costs, household bills, and the essential expenses they’ll face in the coming weeks and months.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page with others is just as helpful. Our entire flight school and airport family is rallying behind Trey and Laura, and your kindness means more than you know.
Thank you for your support, your generosity, and your prayers for Trey’s healing.
