Hi everyone , my name is Gerardo Rodriguez and along with my brother Edgar Rodriguez are doing this fundraiser on behalf of our parents. The Rodriguez Family. While we were fortunate enough to not lose everything in the Altadena - Eaton Canyon wild fires. Time has shown that we will have to relocate due damages , safety , and health concerns regarding our residence and the surrounding area. The majority of our neighborhood burned down and a big part of our apartment complex has been burned or severely damaged. Our main reason for relocating would be our two younger brothers Maximillion and Giovann. Maximillion has Autism and Down Syndrome which means he has a weaker immune system than most people and with that respiratory issues are common with him. Giovann is taking a variety of prescribed medicine ( due to complication and removal of potentially cancerous polyps in his colon ) that cause him to have open sores and of course weaken him enough to get easily sick. He spends the majority of the day sleeping due to that as well and having him sleep in a smoke damaged residence would be unwise. That being said finding a livable and healthy residence is a top priority. This will not be easy due to trying to stay somewhat local so that Maximillion can still attend his specialized school for kids with special needs. These funds will help My Dad Martin , My Mother Maria , My Brother Giovann , My Brother Maximilion , and our two family dogs Flash and Milo.
