UPDATE: Funeral and memorial service date to be determined.
Christopher Alvin Robison passed away on March 26, 2025 at the age of 65. He was “Dad” and “Pop” to Piedmont Baseball coaches William Robison and Josh Campuzano and also their baseball inspiration. Chris was also more than a baseball coach. He was a devoted husband to wife Beverly for 27 years, father to sons William and Alexander and a cornerstone of his community. His legacy will be forever cherished.
Both Josh and William would not be the baseball players they were, and the coaches they are today, if not for Chris’s dedication to them, and to baseball. Chris was a baseball coach for Berkeley High School for 35 years and was JV coach for one season at Piedmont High School. His family was part of the Piedmont community for 17 years and he coached William from Shetland all the way to Pony as a PBSF coach. Chris spent many hours playing baseball, coaching kids and throwing BP, and he taught William and Josh the skills and discipline they needed to excel. When they weren’t playing baseball he was telling baseball story after baseball story. Chris has helped boys across the Bay Area find joy and life lessons while playing a sport they love.
Chris’s legacy lives on in the hundreds of kids that William and Josh have coached. Please consider a donation if you would like to support the Robison family during this difficult time with funeral (date TBD) and general life transition expenses. The family will be grateful for your generosity.
