Help Support the Roberts Family as Chris Fights Stage 4 Cancer

We are asking you to support our family in this crisis as the husband/father of our family battles stage 4 cancer.

In 2021 our family experienced a multitude of changes. A new job for Jenni, a new school for Chloe and a cancer battle for Chris. He was stage 3 when first diagnosed.

By the end of 2023 the family saw miracles as Chris was declared cancer free and Chloe was thriving in school while Jenni was on her way to advancing in her new career.

And then…things took a turn for the worse. On March 5th of this year, we received devastating news that the cancer had returned, and it was stage four having spread through some of Chris’ body. To compound matters, 4 hours later that same day, Jenni’s dad (who had lived with the family for 10 years and was being cared for by Jenni and Chris) died suddenly en route to the hospital ER. While medical staff did all they could to save Jenni’s dad, nothing could prepare her for the news that awaited her when she arrived promptly after work to the ER.

Now, as the family navigates their ‘new normal’ without their beloved patriarch. They are gripped with financial difficulties brought on by post pandemic inflation and medical costs for Chris along with the loss of substantial income due to Chris disability.

Jenni has taken on a second job (starting October of this year), but it may prove daunting to chip away at the insurmountable debt incurred in order to keep the household running while paying medical costs.

In the past, people have helped and we are tremendously grateful. We are also grateful for any continued help. Most importantly, your prayers are appreciated because I believe those are more powerful than any financial gift can ever be. Thank you. Christopher is making paintings in acrylic, however selling them is slow. Every week is a struggle, with bills always exceeding income coming in, and constantly overdrawn.
