Support the Riders Injured in the I 84 Crash

On Saturday, October 3, what began as a memorial ride to honor our brother Big Keith turned into one of the worst motorcycle accidents many of us have ever witnessed.

More than 100 motorcycles were traveling together on I 84 near Caldwell, Idaho when a major crash occurred inside the pack. Multiple motorcycles and vehicles were involved. Riders were transported by ambulance and Life Flight, and several people suffered serious injuries.

The most important thing we can say today is that everyone survived.

Some riders have already been treated and released. Others remain hospitalized, including riders facing serious and potentially lengthy recoveries.

The physical injuries are only part of what comes next.

Many of these riders will be unable to work while they recover. Medical bills, travel expenses, rehabilitation, lost income, household expenses and monthly obligations do not stop simply because someone is injured.

That is why we are coming together now.

This fundraiser has been created to help the riders who were injured in Saturday’s accident and their families as they work through the recovery process.

Funds raised will be used to help with needs including medical expenses, rehabilitation, lost wages, housing and utility payments, transportation, and other necessary living expenses while riders are unable to work or return to normal life.

We will do our best to distribute these funds where they are needed most among the riders affected by this crash and will provide updates as recovery continues.

This community has always been about more than motorcycles.

It is about brotherhood.

It is about showing up.

It is about taking care of one another when life changes in an instant.

Saturday morning we gathered to honor someone we loved. By the end of the day, many of our own were facing a completely different road ahead.

Now it is our turn to help carry some of that weight.
