Hello friends and family,

My name is Beverly Boone and I have the undeserved privilege of knowing the Rhodes family through our beloved church family at Belcroft Bible Church. Thomas, Tammy and the entire extended family experienced the heart breaking passing of Thomas' mother, Christine Elizabeth Rhodes, on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Christine had recently been diagnosed with cancer which rapidly spread and she succumbed to the disease much sooner than anyone had expected. The family is so thankful that they were able to be with Christine in her final days and that the Lord allowed a multitude of opportunities to care for her and to express their love to her. There is a peace that there were no words left unspoken. What a kindness from our great God.

Her passing was sudden and unexpected and her family now faces the difficult task of arranging her funeral while deeply grieving the loss of their beloved mother and grandmother. Compounding the strain of this time, Thomas is currently furloughed as he is a government employee. We pray that the furlough will soon end but the expense of the funeral still looms large for the family. The family has sought to honor Christine well and at the same time be mindful of the costs associated with the funeral expenses. The goal amount for this fundraiser is the exact amount due to the funeral home. Many have offered sweet condolences and asked for ways to help. Contributing to this fundraiser would be a tangible help and a blessing to the family. Even more than this physical support, I would ask that you pray for the family as they mourn. That their hearts would turn to Christ, the only true comforter. That they would know that while Christine's passing was sudden in their eyes, nothing is a surprise to God and every moment was sovereignly orchestrated according to His plans and purposes.

Thank you for your love, support and prayers for the entire Rhodes family. They are so blessed by the people the Lord has placed in their lives and are so incredibly thankful for each and every one of you.
