The Reyes Family (Savannah, JR, Beckam, and Raelyn) are some of the bravest, most loving, and genuine people I know. In May, JR had colon surgery and received the devastating news that he had stage 3 colon cancer. Since then, he has spent stints in and out of the hospital, bravely enduring chemotherapy every other week. Despite all their efforts, the family recently learned that JR’s cancer has progressed to stage 4.

Although they are grateful for workers comp, JR is unable to work and the financial strain on the Reyes family has grown heavier. They are facing bills and daily expenses while trying to stay strong for each other. As they prepare to courageously continue this fight and navigate next steps, the last thing they should have to worry about is how to keep up with basic needs like food, lawn care, childcare, and supplements for JR’s health.
