It’s incredibly painful to even write these words. On Saturday, June 28th, ICE came to my parents’ home and took my dad away.

My heart is shattered. Anyone who knows my dad knows the kind of man he is. Honest, hardworking, gentle, and full of love. All he ever wanted was to provide a better life for his family. He is our rock.

This has turned our lives upside down. We’re living a nightmare we never imagined would reach our doorstep. My family and I are doing our best to stay strong, but we’re scared and heartbroken.

We’re asking for your prayers, your love, and if you’re able, your support. I’ve created a GoFundMe to help my parents, especially my mom, as we begin to face the unknown. Whether that means legal fees, basic expenses, or possibly even having to move back to Mexico, anything helps.
