Help the Rehbein family Recover from Devastating House Fire

As some of you may have heard or read this morning the home of Mindi Rehbein was tragically struck by a fire, leaving them facing unimaginable challenges in the upcoming months. The amount of damage to the house is currently unknown, the cause being “an electronic wiring failure” caused the fire in the living room. Their family home is currently uninsured and they will be facing the struggle of rebuilding their entire lives.

Mindi, Katie, and Katie’s children, along with pets were all home when the fire started. Katie’s partner was away at work at the time the fire occurred. Katie and her 3 year old son, Gabriel were flown to the Twin Cities and Katie is currently in critical condition, and Gabriel in guarded condition, while the other family members have also been hospitalized due to injuries sustained in the fire.

Katie is a loving mom to four children and is active in the community. Right now the details on the condition of the family are that Gabriel has a tube down his throat to help eliminate the carbon monoxide in his lungs, but he is doing ok for the most part. Katie on the other hand was burnt with 75% on her body and only 35% of people survive that as a result of the fire. Please pray for Katie.

This loving family has lost their home, all their belongings, and they now face the daunting task of rebuilding their lives. We are reaching out to our community to rally around the Rehbein family during this incredibly difficult time.
