Support the rehabilitation of Chocolat!
Donation protected
In August 2024, Monkey World rescued a disabled chimpanzee called Chocolat from Kenya. Orphaned by the illegal bush meat trade in Republic of Congo, Chocolat had suffered injuries which left her partially paralysed.
Her rescuer and owner was desperate for Chocolat to have a safe future, and a chance to have a family again, so of course we did all we could and brought Chocolat to the UK to be introduced to Bryan’s group of chimps.
We made some adjustments to the bedrooms & enclosure that the chimps live in to accommodate Chocolat, and now she is here and we can assess her abilities fully, we know we need to make further changes to ensure Chocolat’s safety in the playroom.
We are estimating that the total cost of these modifications will be around £10,000. Can you help us?
We're hoping you can join Team Chocolat! No raffles, sweepstakes, giveaways, or promotions are offered in exchange for any donations made to this GoFundMe.
