Help the Regina Hungarian Cultural & Social Club

The Regina Hungarian Cultural & Social Club is proud to be more than 100 years old and one of the few original cultural clubs continuing to operate in Regina. In this past century we have made so many amazing memories for our community and for the folks and friends who have enjoyed and loved our facility over the years.

The Club was founded in 1922 and started out as a small social gathering place for Hungarian-Canadians. We have always been a place to experience culture, language, dance, art and cuisine, workshops, and family and community events such as Mosaic. It is the home of our Balaton Hungarian Dance Group and famed for our food.

Maybe you celebrated your wedding with us! Maybe you drop in to raise a glass with friends on a Friday. Maybe you watched your classmates dance on our stage at Mosaic, or maybe you remember coming to our Grape Dance celebrations as a kid with your Nagymama and Nagypapa.

We have always been a place for making memories.

Our Goal

It is no surprise that with an aging building and following the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic that financially things are difficult just now. We have worked diligently to stay afloat throughout, and although we are slowly gaining momentum to move onward, now is the time to ask for support from the community.

We hope to raise $50,000 to get ahead of the many needed facility upgrades so we can continue to be around for many more years to come. On our wish list is fixing our heating and cooling systems, bathroom and kitchen repairs and upgrades, a fix to our stage floor, and some additional general building maintenance.
