Hello, we are Shelby and Karen Parker, and we wanted to help our family friends Jim, Krista, and Davis Rees. Jim is the cook at our local diner at Eat N Park in Moon Twp, and he's probably made you breakfast, lunch, or dinner at some point. He has worked there for over 30 years. Krista is the General Manager at the Chippewa Eat N Park and has worked for the company for 25 years. They are going through one of the most terrible things any parent can experience right now; their child Davis is in end-stage kidney failure. He is only 18 years old and has spent over 7 years of his life on dialysis since he was a baby up until now. He has spent most of his childhood in and out of Children's Hospital.

He has been searching for a kidney for years, and unfortunately, last night Davis has gotten worse and is now partiality blind in his left eye from his condition. Jim and Krista are dedicated parents who would do absolutely anything for their son. They have searched tirelessly for a donor kidney and have taken care of and loved Davis through every hospital stay, dialysis appointment, and surgical procedure.

We would like to help them through this time in any way that we can. Any donations will be used for medical bills, travel costs to his hospital downtown, and to cover any time off work that Jim and Krista need so they can spend as much time with Davis as they can.

If you cannot financially donate, please keep Jim, Krista, Jess(Davis's sister), and especially Davis in your thoughts and prayers during this time. And most of all, if you can or know anyone that is able to donate an O negative kidney, you could help save a life.
