Support the Redmond Family During Eaton Fire Displacement
Donation protected
Hello friends and family! Rachel here, member of Interwoven Church and colleague to Harlan at Maranatha High School in Pasadena. This GoFundMe is to assist the Redmond family, who were displaced from their home after immediate evacuation during the Eaton Fire. They are currently residing with friends, waiting for the news of when they can return to their home.
Most likely you are visiting this page because you know how pivotal Harlan and Nanyamka are to our community. They live and breathe to serve others -- whether you know them from church, your neighborhood, or from your childhood... their mission has not changed. Even during the fire, Harlan stayed behind to ensure his and his neighbor's homes were not burned. True sacrifice.
At this time, they are unsure how long they will need to be out of their home due to damage assessments and cleanup, and even when the evacuation mandate is lifted, there is sure to be a heavy amount of cleaning inside their home, that is, if the house is suitable for living.
Our ask is to raise enough funds for them to live comfortably enough during this time of waiting -- to allow them to live close by to keep a sense of normalcy for their three boys, but also so that they can do what they do best -- be there for their community. Anything you can give would be appreciated!
