Virginia, known to everyone as Mom, is with Parkinson's disease. She's being looked after and assisted almost all of the time by her younger son, Jimmy. Even with her disease, they both tend to the oldest son, Paul, who currently resides in an assisted living facility in a completely different city because of a permanent brain injury. They take him to all his appointments and activities while Jimmy also handles Mom's and Paul's pharmacy medication, all while having the only option to take public transportation, requiring a lot of travel time.

Due to Mom's Parkinson's and Paul's brain injury, the whole family has been struggling financially. They are way behind on rent, having until final June 2nd, and are also strained to pay for bills.

Their situation is desperate right now, so I'm trying to help them raise some money. They will use this to pay the landlord a month of rent to get a little more time and to cover expenses like medical costs, basic necessities, and pay for public transportation.

The Reddens are the most kind-hearted family I've ever met. I was in the same Skilled Nursing Hospital with Paul for over 5 years, and in that time, Mama Redden and Jimmy have treated me like a son and like a brother. They encouraged me in my time of recovery, and they were an important backbone to my emotional health. They always greeted, took care of, and supported me as one of their own.
