Today, I reach out with a prayer and an invitation—to hold space for someone whose courage and heart have carried her through trials few could imagine. Brooke Haag is a woman of extraordinary light, a soul whose presence heals and inspires. Now, she needs us to remind her that she is not alone.

Two years ago, Brooke’s world was shattered. Just before her beloved partner, Jackson Nazario, was tragically killed in a plane crash in Santa Monica, Brooke experienced the devastating loss of a pregnancy. That compounded grief—losing the life they were preparing to welcome and the partner who shared her dreams—has amplified her pain beyond measure.

When Jackson left this world, Brooke was thrust into a storm of sorrow so profound it shook her to the core. And yet, what amazes me is her capacity to endure—her unwavering ability to hold love and integrity despite the odds. Over the years, she has faced unimaginable challenges: her partner, falling ill with long COVID, and being without a home—sleeping on countless couches, carrying pieces of her life with Jackson from place to place, as if holding onto fragments of a dream that feels out of reach.

Most recently, Brooke was forced to evacuate due to the fires that devastated her family. “These fires,” she told me, “have stirred up so much—bringing to the surface every traumatic thing I’ve ever been through. When I had Jackson, we walked through it together, hand in hand. But now, I don’t have him for that anymore.”

We spent over three hours on the phone, sharing in tears, releasing grief, and praying together. In the midst of her darkest hour, Brooke and I called forward the miracle she so deeply deserves. I know in my heart that this is her time to be held, to be supported, and to be reminded that her life’s purpose is not lost—it is waiting to be resurrected.

Brooke dreams of returning to the healing arts, of resurrecting Sacred Sunday Tribe, the sacred space she and Jackson created for music, storytelling, and connection.
