On January 13, 2026, the Ragan's lost their dad after he was diagnosed with cancer only a few months earlier. They were still grieving and trying to adjust when, less than a month later, tragedy struck again—their mom died in a house fire on February 10th. Losing both parents so suddenly has left the Ragan's heartbroken and overwhelmed, facing challenges they never could have prepared for.
Now, they are left to handle not only their grief but also the many unexpected expenses that have come with these losses. They need help covering the costs of two cremations, demolishing what remains of their family home, and paying off outstanding debts that they simply didn’t have time to address. If there is anything left after these urgent needs, they want to honor their parents’ love for animals by donating to a local no-kill animal shelter.
We appreciate any help we can get during this impossible time. These expenses weren’t expected at all and add another layer of devastation to their lives. They can’t do it alone, and your support would mean the world to the Ragan's as they try to rebuild and honor their parents’ memory.
