We are a family affected by the war in Ukraine. We live in Canada but our relatives live in Kyiv.

We are raising funds to help publish the first book in Ukraine dedicated to ultrasound examination of the veins of the lower extremities. This will be the first book of its kind written by Ukrainian authors and in Ukrainian language. This publication will be a real breakthrough for doctors and medical professionals in Ukraine. The book deals with ultrasound in phlebology (the medical study of the anatomy, physiology, and diseases of the veins). It shows how to assemble a diagnostic puzzle for varicose veins and thrombosis

In the book, the authors shared samples of their protocols and research findings, which would help any specialist to have complete information about the identified disorders in each patient.

The work on this book was long and painstaking, as the authors aimed to create a really useful, high-quality, internationally recognized professional publication, the need for which is urgent and extremely relevant in Ukraine.
