In March of 2025, I wrote a song called “The River, The Wine.” It came straight out of my heart, like a river… flowing through my living room (iykyk). Shortly thereafter, I played my first solo gig as a singer/songwriter and guitarist, and I played “The River, The Wine” live for the first time… and nearly 50 times after that, just in this year alone. Thanks to the incredibly generous and endless support from our local live music community, this song has taken on a life of its own. I cannot express how healing it is to share this combination of words, rhythms, and notes with you and to feel your love radiate back to me.

Excitingly, I have found the person I know will do justice to the production of “The River, The Wine.” While they are a bit out of my budget, I simply cannot pass the opportunity by. The agreement includes that I will retain all rights and royalties to my music -- so this is exactly who I want to work with on my song.

So now, I come to you with a humble request: if you are willing and able, I would deeply appreciate any contribution towards the production of “The River, The Wine.” Please do not feel pressured and please only share within your means — truly, every dollar counts!

Should I exceed my fundraising goal, all remaining proceeds will be donated to The Trevor Project. At the end of the day, this song is about belonging. It’s about how every life matters, and everyone is worthy of love — including God’s love — no matter who they love.
