I will be premiering an evening-length dance, Believer, May 14th & 15th 2026 at Triskelion Arts in Greenpoint, BK. I have been working on this piece since October 2024, building out sections of the work over the course of 2024 & 2025 thanks to invitations by CATCH, Offerings, Channels Performance Series, Phoebus Osborne, Beams, and Stone Circle Theatre to present the work in progress, as well as a rehearsal residency at Gibney Dance to continue developing choreographic material.

Believer is a duet between myself and Molly Ross that traverses an ecosystem and a landscape built out by the new state of consciousness humans have developed in the 21st century. The dance pulls from the essence, compositions, and material of trending social media, cinema, dream world, current events, and the language used to inform us to build a space that is both familiar and new. Molly and myself traverse this landscape, transforming into many iterations of ourselves, always together, but never with one other.

Believer is the abstracted reality and experience of trying to be, choosing to continue, and what is encountered and felt as you are changed by your surroundings over time.

Below is a breakdown of what this fundraiser will support. The artist fees below are the goals that I want to compensate my collaborators: Molly Ross as performer, Camilla Carper as costume designer, Cal Fish as sound designer, and Maggie Heath as lighting designer.

This fundraiser will go to help

-cover the rental fee of the theater + insurance ($3100)
