Support the Premiere of Catholic All Girls School in Miami

Hello! My name is Adriana "Ayi" Santos, I am a Colombian-American playwright and director raised and based in Miami, FL passionate about creating art that tells uniquely Miami stories and showcases local talent and I am raising funds to produce my original play, Catholic All Girls School, in Miami!

After a successful, sold out reading in December of 2024, Catholic All Girls School (a.k.a. CAGS) will premiere at Miami’s leading comedy theater, Villain Theater (https://www.villaintheater.com/) on April 25th, 26th and 27th!

I and Villain Theater are thrilled to be presenting this hilarious, contemporary (very Miami) play unlike any other, centering four Latinas coming of age in a modern Miami. As independent creatives paving our own path in the South Florida theater scene, Villain Theater and I are excited to offer Miami audiences a theater experience that is fun and fresh as well as powerful in its realistic depiction of mental health struggles young people face today.

What's the play about? An overachieving high schooler at Miami’s most prestigious Catholic all girls school has the perfect plan to get into her dream college, until an attractive, young, ex-priest is hired as her new ethics teacher and begins to dismantle all she knows about right, wrong and falling in love.

By donating to our campaign, will be first and foremost supporting young Latinas and Miami natives realize their dreams of making independent, inspiring art in Miami. We are armed with talent, drive and commitment making our local art scene grow and with your help you will bring our dream of seeing the full realization of this play to life.

This is only the first of many projects I am developing under my new production company, Ayi, Inc. I want to make noise with the success of this play and keep the creative energy going with more, exciting productions to come!
