Dear Friends,
In May 2025, I will join the Police Unity Tour-Challenge Ride, consisting of nearly 450 law enforcement officers representing police agencies throughout the United States. We will depart from Somerset, New Jersey, and travel through Philadelphia, Delaware, Baltimore, and ultimately into Washington, DC.
On May 12th, 2025, we will join nearly 2,500 law enforcement officers from throughout the country who will bicycle along varying routes, each nearly 300 miles, to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC. On May 13th, we will join over 50,000 people at the National Law Enforcement Memorial Candlelight Vigil. During the ceremony, the names of every officer who died in the line of duty during 2024 will be read, and his/her name will be officially added to the Memorial, which already contains over 23,410 fallen heroes.
The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness about the police officers who have died in the line of duty. The motto is, "We Ride For Those Who Died." I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to get to know Deputy Tobin Bolter, who was killed in the line of duty on April 21st, 2024. I am honored I get the opportunity to participate in this ride for Deputy Bolter, and all of those who have gone before us.
I am asking for some additional support in the form of donations as there are out-of-pocket expenses each rider will accrue. Any bit helps, and I thank you in advance for your consideration of a contribution.
