This November I’m running the Every Women’s Marathon in Arizona. This race is all about empowering women and supporting each other. One way I want to support women during this race is to spread the word about this awesome non-profit called The Pink Fund. This group offers financial assistance while someone is out of work due to their breast cancer treatment. As an oncology nurse I have seen first hand how difficult it is for families to have to navigate cancer and bills. Nobody should have to worry about that while they fight cancer. Together we can help take away the financial burden and allow fighters to focus on healing and their families.
