David Michael Piasio, known lovingly to all as David or Dave, passed away on August 19, 2024, at the age of 45. Born on October 6, 1978, in Astoria, New York, David grew into a man of integrity, humor, and profound kindness. His final moments were spent in Staten Island, New York, surrounded by the love of his family. David's life was cut short by heart failure, but the legacy of his spirit will forever beat strongly in the hearts of those who knew him.

David was the beloved husband of Mary Ann Piasio, a bond marked by deep affection and mutual respect. He was the proud father of Daniel and Gabriella Piasio, who were his greatest joys and accomplishments. David's devotion to his family was matched only by the love he received in return. He was the cherished son of Frances Piasio and the late Franklin Piasio, and a caring brother to Barbara Alexander. David's family was the cornerstone of his life, and he nurtured each relationship with tenderness and wit.

Those who knew David would describe him as loving, funny, and thoughtful. His presence was a source of comfort and joy to many. David's sense of humor was a gift that he shared generously, lifting spirits and spreading smiles wherever he went. His capacity for empathy made him a confidant and a pillar of support to those around him.
