On Tuesday September 8th, 2020 my father Jeffery Allen Kinney suddenly passed away in Canton, IL in a tragic car crash. Jeff had only recently returned the previous week to Illinois, from Ashland WI, to work for the company Envirocon Inc. doing environmental remediation, which he has done for the past five years.
Being away from home for work was something my father both enjoyed, for his love of traveling, and struggled with, as he was a big family man who cherished every second of time spent with us. He was known for being a jokester and his love of nature, traveling, fishing, going to concerts and sports games, listening to music, and playing with our two dogs. Jeff was a bright and adventurous man who lived a life of compassion and servitude for everyone he loved; there is nothing my father would not have done for his wife or children. My father taught me and my sister Rebecca the importance of helping and giving to others, which is something he was well-known for in the community of Ashland.
Now, without the care, help, and financial support from my father (who was the main provider of our family) my mother, sister, and I are left scrambling to make funeral arrangements and life adjustments with little income and no life insurance support. It is during this incredibly difficult and unexpected time that my family reaches out and asks for your support financially. Any amount helps and will go directly to my mother Joan Pero Kinney to assist with funeral costs and living expenses.
We thank everyone who has reached out to us with kind thoughts, prayers, and continue to help us through this difficult time.
