Hello, my name is Yari Perez, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of myself, my mother Onelia Perez, and my sister Rebeca Perez.

On June 23rd, 2025, our world changed forever. We lost our beloved father after a painful and sudden health decline. In the weeks leading up to his passing, my father endured multiple strokes, pneumonia, and was diagnosed with lung cancer. Just a few weeks prior, he was involved in a car accident that we now believe may have silently triggered the strokes that followed.

My father was a king in every sense—more than our provider—he was our protector, our guide, and the steady foundation of our lives. He carried the weight of our family with quiet strength and unwavering love. Even in his final days, he remained a warrior. His sacrifice and devotion never wavered, and now, his spirit lives on in each of us.

We trust that God has called him home, that his soul is at peace, and that he is no longer in pain. Though our hearts are broken, we lean on our faith, believing that those who walk with love and selflessness in life are never truly gone—they live on through the lives they touched.
