Hi! I'm Sara Moynier and I've started this GoFundMe for the Pequeno Family and help support them through a tough medical crisis with their youngest son. The money we raise will go directly to the family for their expenses associated with having a long stay at a medical facility.

 

Here is their story:

 

Xavier is a beautifu, happy 8 year old boy who has been fighting for his life since he was 14 months old. He has gone through chemo for a stem cell transplant when he was 2.5 and his older brother was his donor. He has had more hospital stays than we can count and gone through more then 20 different surgical procedures. Xavier is currently dealing with declining lungs caused by chronic pneumonia infections. Because of the recent decline in his lung function he will be spending a couple weeks in patient at UCSF Benioff Childrens Hospital with the hopes of doing strong IV antibiotics and numerous respiratory treatments daily to see if he can regain some function. Although UCSF is Xavier’s home away from home it is never easy being separated from your family. The family is great ful for any help during this time.
