My name is Nicole Pearson, and I’m fighting for justice for my brother, who was killed by the Seattle Police Department on September 12th 2026.
With heavy hearts, we are asking for support following the tragic and devastating loss of our beloved Keenan Pearson, who was killed in an encounter with the Seattle Police Department. Keenan was not violent, combative nor committing any crime, during this interaction with SPD, per multiple witnesses.
Our family is heartbroken and struggling to process the sudden loss of someone we love deeply. During this incredibly difficult time, we are also facing the financial responsibilities that come with bringing him home and making arrangements to lay him to rest.
We are asking for donations to help cover his funeral and burial expenses, including the cost of bringing his body back to his hometown so that our family can say our final goodbyes. Funds will help with getting Keenan from Seattle back to KC for his homegoing service, attorney fees and other expenses our family is facing as we work to understand what happened, pursue accountability, and seek justice for our brother.
No family should have to face the loss of a loved one under circumstances like these while also worrying about how they will afford the costs that follow. We want to give my brother the homegoing and dignity he deserves while standing together as a family through this painful journey. We will continue to pray for justice, not just for Keenan, but all victims of police brutality and injustice.
If you are able to contribute, any amount—large or small—will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with your family, friends, and community would mean just as much to us.
Thank you for standing with our family, for helping us bring our brother home, and for keeping his memory and our family in your thoughts and prayers.
With gratitude,
Nicole Pearson, the Pearson family, and all other family members & friends.
Bless you
