On Thursday, May 1st, 2025, a fire broke out just after 11 p.m. and tore through three townhomes. One of the homes was my sister's and her family's home. My sister, Emily Passmore, who is expecting twins, her husband, Jeff Passmore, their two little girls, Olivia (age 7), Mackenzie (age 4), and their dog Penny were all displaced. The fire started in the neighbor's home and quickly spread through my sister's house and the neighboring home. Thankfully, everyone made it out of the house safely. Unfortunately, the damage to their home is extensive, and nothing can be saved. It is beyond the furniture and clothing; they lost everything from family photographs to baby keepsakes.
