Support the Parra Family in Their Time of Loss

It is with great sadness to watch the lives of some of my closest friends change as they say their final goodbye to their beautiful mother Elvia Parra. I had the pleasure of getting to know Elvia at a young age as I grew up always going to her house to hangout with her daughter Esmeralda and her son Beto. Over the years her family became my family. Elvia was such a beautiful light always laughing and dancing. Her food was simply amazing, I remember driving down from Los Angeles to Oxnard one year just to have some of the leftovers of her thanksgiving casserole. Her family was her life, there’s nothing she wouldn’t do to make sure her family was happy. She was a loving mother to 6 children a devoted wife of 35 years and an amazing grandmother to two beautiful grand babies.

The loss of a mother is one of life’s most painful challenges. No one is ever ready to say goodbye and few are ready for financial burden that comes after a sudden loss. I started this fundraiser to assist the Parra family during this difficult time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
