On May 14th, Kandi & Blake Parker welcomed their 4th child into the world, Garrett Hayes. At just 27 weeks and 6 days gestation, Hayes was delivered via cesarean at UAB due to complications arising from pre-eclampsia. Hayes is classified as a micro preemie, weighing in at 1 lb 2 oz and only 12.2 inches long. Kandi will soon be discharged in stable condition, but Hayes has a long road ahead of him.

With 3 other babies at home that need their parents, Kandi and Blake will be traveling constantly between home and Birmingham. Every time they go to UAB it will be over 200 miles round trip. Please come alongside us in prayer for Hayes and the Parker family as they start this arduous journey, and if you feel led, please consider donating in support of the many expenses they will be incurring this summer.
