Hi, my name is Douglas Pang, and I’m reaching out during an incredibly difficult time for our family. On February 9th, we lost my beloved father, Ken Pang, unexpectedly in Hong Kong. He was a loving husband, father, and friend to so many, and his passing has left a void in our hearts and lives.
As I reflect on the life of my father, my heart is filled with both sorrow and gratitude. He was not only my parent but also my first teacher, guiding me through the earliest stages of life. From teaching me Cantonese as my first spoken language to holding my tiny hands as I took my first steps, he was always there, patient and encouraging. He introduced me to the joys of basketball, tennis, and swimming, instilling in me a love for sports and an active lifestyle. More than that, he taught me the value of hard work, often reminding me how difficult it is to earn money and the importance of treating others with kindness and respect, especially in customer service. He lived his life with happiness and compassion, always emphasizing the importance of family and spending quality time together. These lessons and memories are his legacy, and though he is no longer with us, his love and wisdom will forever remain in my heart.
As we navigate this painful time, we are faced with the unexpected costs of funeral expenses between Hong Kong and the United States. We want to give Ken Pang the memorial he deserves, but the financial burden is overwhelming for our family.
We are humbly asking for your support to help cover the costs of funeral services, cremation, and memorial arrangements in Hong Kong and the United States. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference and allow us to focus on honoring his life and supporting one another during this time of grief.
If you are unable to contribute financially, we deeply appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and shares of this campaign. Your kindness and support mean the world to us as we navigate this heartbreaking loss.
Thank you for your love and generosity.
With gratitude,
Douglas Pang and the Pang Family
