Hi Family and Friends! This is a Fundraiser for The Otte Family to hopefully help lighten their load of medical bills as Zach was recently diagnosed with cancer. Any donations and/or prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Kelsey’s Post/Their story:

We found out Zach has cancer after years of heartbreak while trying to grow our family with no success. After a battery of tests and varying results, doctors originally found a benign brain tumor on his pituitary gland last year. We were told something serious was going on, and we thought that was it. We now know this brain tumor poses no life-threatening risks. With that knowledge, we knew more was going on, but there was a lot of confusion and multiple specialists all working to figure out what was going on. He has been on HCG (which boosts testosterone) for 6 months, and that has been life-changing to battle fatigue. However, his test results were still not coming back in the way we had hoped. After even more tests, we then found out he has testicular cancer. The cancer he has is extremely hard to find, and we are thankful that we kept pressing forward to find answers.

He will be having surgery February 4th (less than one week from finding out). We will then be treated at the Huntsman Cancer Center following surgery.

He has an incredible doctor taking care of him. We are so relieved this doctor has taken the time to truly listen to us. He called us to break the news on his personal day off and then talked us through our options.

We are praying that this surgery goes well, all the cancer will be taken out, and that it has not spread. The spreading of cancer is the main concern, but we will not have answers until post-surgery.

We are especially thankful for the village of friends and family that have gathered around us. We are also SO thankful for the amazing department/leadership Zach works for that has had his back.

I love this little family of mine and am thankful every single day these two boys are mine.
