It is with profound sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of our sister, Ma. Rosalinda Jagolino-Catadman on the 9th day of June 2023.
Rosalinda, or Butch as we fondly called her, was only 51 years old when she suffered a ruptured vertebral artery aneurysm. She was supposed to undergo cerebral artery bypass, but her condition suddenly deteriorated due to the development of massive subarachnoid hemorrhage and acute hydrocephalus. An emergency ventriculostomy was done but to no avail. Several hours later, her condition worsened and led to her untimely death. She was survived by her two children – Jai and Ayen.
Rosalinda was a wonderful person, shy - but always ready to offer a smile and a kind word to everyone that she met. She worked hard and single-handedly raised and provided for her children. Her faith was steadfast, and her resolve to better her family’s life was firm.
But sadly, Rosalinda’s life and that of her children were fraught with difficulties, tragedies, and heartache. When their family broke apart, the two kids chose to stay with Rosalinda. The separation affected Jai the most and he became reclusive. Rosalinda was supposedly making progress in consoling Jai, but with her death, Jai is forced to deal with another agonizing blow to his young life – the loss of his pillar of strength. Ayen, on the other hand, had to step up, take care of her brother and take on responsibility while dealing with her own pain.
They now face a mountain of problems - large hospital bills, funeral expenses, and debts that Rosalinda’s hospitalization and death incurred. On top of this is the devastating fact that no financial support for their future needs is forthcoming.
We created this Gofundme to help alleviate some of the pain and fear that these siblings have. They are too young to be dealing with this kind of dilemma by themselves.
Please help Jai and Ayen move forward with their lives. Your compassion, love, continued prayers, and financial support will help them survive this ordeal and rebuild their lives.
We will be extremely grateful for any help or donation that you can extend to these siblings.
Thank you for your generosity. God bless you all!
