We’re thrilled to announce the 4th Original Song Project (OSP), happening August 19th-23rd in a new location in the DMV Area!
The Original Song Project is a 5-day immersive songwriting workshop for young adults (ages 18–40) within our community & friends. Our mission is to create an artistic, constructive, and supportive space for aspiring songwriters to write, refine, and share their own original music.
At the end of the week, every participant will have the chance to perform their song(s) at an open concert for family, friends, and community members held this year at the Washington Times. We hope you will join us for an unforgettable concert experience that will showcase the creativity of our songwriters as they debut their never heard-before songs!

We want to make this unique workshop affordable and accessible for young adults regardless of financial background. With participants traveling from across the country, we need your support to lower participation fees and to provide scholarships for those who need assistance with travel or tuition. No matter how big or small, your support will help these artists on their creative journey.
Your generous donations will help cover:
- Participant scholarships
- Seminars with professional songwriters
- Lodging & meals
- Concert expenses (staff, hall rental, A/V equipment)
- DMV experiences (like attending shows & exploring creative spaces)
If you’d like to donate by check, Venmo, or PayPal, or have any questions, reach out anytime through GoFundMe, or connect with our director Sunhwa Reiner.
Thank you for believing in this mission and helping us build a supportive space for the next generation of songwriters.
