Support The Opening Of A New Cultural Hub !

Donation protected
Middletown, NY is a city with an ever growing diverse population. We are looking to establish the first black owned independent bookstore which will be a community resource, cultural hub for youth programming, special events and community workshops. Our slogan is “more than a bookstore” where we hope to rejuvenate, cultivate and educate. With these funds we plan to broaden our book collection, secure stipends for special guests and authors, purchase technology to facilitate workshops, as well as enhance some of our youth programming events scheduled for this year. For more on our organization’s work please check out our website.

We know and truly believe that “ community is a verb ! ” So we are asking for our community (both known and unknown, local and national) for their support in our entrepreneurial community based venture to bring more cultural awareness!
